Materials: Bulky Weight - Level 5 or 6 yarn (I used Impeccable Charisma from Micheals)
Size L crochet hook
Yarn Needle
* At the end of each round join with a slip st in the first st *
Rnd 1: Magic Loop, ch.2, 12 dc, pull loop tight
Rnd 2: Ch 2, dc in same space, * 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st * repeat * to * until end of round (18 dc)
Rnd 3: Repeat Rnd 2 (27 dc)
Rnd 4 - 7: Ch 2, dc in each st around (27 dc)
At the end of Rnd 7 join with Invisible Join.

ReplyDeleteI would repeat round add four more stitches evenly in another increase row and add another row or two to the total length. 3-6 month is usually sized at 14 to 15 in circumference and 5.5 to 6 inches crown to brim.

I went through all my kazillions hooks and found not one 'L'. I went to Wal-Mart today and still no 'L'. What's up with that?
ReplyDeleteIt just depends on what the store carries. Try a Michael's, Hobby Lobby or AC Moore. Walmart's supply is usually limited. Also try eknittingneedles.com Great prices there!
